Overall, 4 stars and thumbs up for decent selection of music, keeping the discussion apropos, and narrative on the topic. But at times, I feel they could do a better job with it for what I’d term the most opportune moments to higlight salient aspects of the artist who’s the focus of the episode, to present and celebrate their truly remarkable artistic capabilities.
Ruchee and/or the producers do a decent job. For example, she has a great voice but sometimes she feels compelled to make it sound artificially sensual when not warranted, in my opinion. Ruchee does a competent job of catering to a wide section of audience on the World Wide Web.Ī few things I’m sure would appeal to someone out there even though they miss the mark for me. Having said that, this is a good podcast to subscribe to. Song selection is always a tough gig, but no matter one’s taste, mood and inclination, one will always find something interesting in every other episode of this podcast if not in every one of them. One of the best podcasts in the Bollywood world
